Didn't take nearly as long as the rear did and I was under the car a lot less for sure. Gonna finish breaking things down tonight and get things cleaned up tomorrow for paint. One thing to note. The previous owner apparently did not know what cotter pins were for because he neglected to put them in several of the crown nuts.

A few more pics here.

ROFL. Yea. Actually the subframe looks pretty good. Most of the moil ended up on me I think. I think moil is similar to paint. When it sees me coming, it leaps off of whatever surface it's attached to and heads my direction with maximum cling factor.

Nice dude...you're flyin' along with this project. One question: did you pull your motor or is it hanging in the wind right now? If it's hanging: what route did you go to hang from?

A coworker let me use his engine hoist and what I did was made a support that the engine sits on. It rests on the 2 engine mounts and the bellhousing from the tranny evenly. It took me quite a bit of time to get it so that it landed on all 3 spots evenly, but I'll probably use it in the future at some point I'm sure. I used 2x6's. but once I get some welding equipment, I think I'd like to make one out of metal that I can bolt together real quick so it takes up less space.
