I must have missed the ringing and burning in my ears. Silly me, I forgot me ears don't work!!!
I sure love it when people talk about me behind my back. Delicious!
Here is the thread that started the whole thing. Apparently some folks can't read. First off by not following instructions, then spewing insults by calling my car a POS when I said it has a long way to be road-worthy.
happy reading, fellas!
Here's the story on my 1600 (not this turd on ebay that someone thinks I need.)
Jerry Curry bought it on ebay. He had no way of getting it home from Kansas to Oregon. I unloaded it off him. Recruited my best friend and we were on the road to Podunk, KS.
Brought the car back to Texas in a rainstorm and then I parked it in my in-laws garage, storing it for the perfect time to start the restoration. It's a 67 Euro-spec. Here's what MT had to say about it:

It doesn't matter to me that she looks like shit. I've loved BMWs since I was a kid, and to have a "piece of shit" like this is a dream come true for me. I will fix it up and give her the glory she deserves. She may not be 100% stock with the plans I have for her, but at least she will ride again! I now have my own property and I have plans to purchase another shell to use in the resto of this 1600. Hope to have things started by year's end!
