Mike showed me how to use the MAMBO software to gain access to the articles' cute lil backsides, and have already corrected my own email address on the five-speed article. :) Anyways, if you have any similar corrections or additions or have a photo that would illustrate a particular point, even in someone else's article, post it here (SIZE YOUR PICS: i need a 640x480 and a small size one which i forget but you can find out by looking at one of the articles with a pic in it... )!

Thanks! :)

hiya

somehow I missed the images from the piston guide

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/content/view/46/32/

Those are still on the server somewhere (?) .. they just need to get moved over and/or linked.

If you use the media manager and upload them you can use the
Code:
{mosimage}
to link them in order via the right side form thing. ya its kinda funky, but it does let the site move without screwing up the paths.

pist-8_6-1.jpg
pist-8_3-1.jpg
pist-9_0-1.jpg
pist-10_0-1.jpg
pist-9_5-1.jpg

are teh ones missing!

sure. I'm on there now but I think everyone is afk

the old image locations were here

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/reference/pistons/pist-9_0-1.jpg

so i'm hoping they are still on the server.

If you can locate them simply use media manager to create a subdirectory in the faq section and upload (or copy them on the server).

Then in place of the href link put in
Code:
{mosimage}

then use the media browser on the right side (in the editor) to select the images you want to show up in the right order.

if you look at some other faqs with images you'll see how its done. Just remember to use the 'close' button, otherwise that faq is stuck in 'edit' mode .. which doesn't hurt anything, but if another admin comes on it will look like someone is working on that faq, when really you've finished

hope that makes some kind of sense!

Can I get some guidance concerning how best to do a forum search? I keep either getting hundreds of barely associated information or no information when I enter a subject.

Hi Rob...I hope you receive this. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Gerry Evans owner of Alpine Europarts Inc. http://www.alpineeuroparts.com would like to know how we could be listed on the Link page. I have looked all over to see how we add a link or who I should email...so I was hoping you could help.

Alpine Europarts has been in business selling German Auto Parts for over 30 years in So. California. We are now starting to go through 2 of our warehouses (we have 2 locations) and we are coming across brand new 2002 BMW parts.

Hopefully you can let me know. Thank you so much, Kathie for http://www.alpineeuroparts.com email address: alpineeuroparts@aol.com
