Subject: Firefox Script Max runtime tweak (for FAQ editors)

On my slow assed modem I was getting continued warnings about script execution time, when editing a FAQ item using the latest Firefox 1.5

You have to keep hitting 'continue' in a warning dialog when viewing source or applying changes to a faq item.

Its probably my slow assed connection but if you get this problem using the site (or any other) here's how to fix it:

in the address bar of Firefox type

about:config

This brings up a list of settings you can tweak. Look for
dom.max_script_run_time

this is set for 5 by default. I cranked it up to 20 and the problem has gone away.

All you do is right click on item and choose 'modify' and put in a new value.

It was getting annoying having to hit 'continue' 3-4 times before the script would finish.
