Down in the southeast, near Athens. Grew up there, and did my undergrad at OU. I came out to Hawaii to go to grad school for marine biology. It's great over here, but its not 'home.'

Well, I don't even have a running, driving 02 at the moment. Just this thing:

Here's the rest of the fleet:

Right hand drive 81 323i. Painted less than 2 days ago. No expense spared assembly coming up!

83 633csi. Daily war pig. Koni shocks, Eibach springs, Koni swaybars, 750il front brakes, 16" MMII wheels, and a few other things. This pics was taken before the springs.

77 630csi. Absolutely rust free Karmann bodied coupe. I will one day rebuild it into the shark of my dreams.

Wife's daily war wagon. 82 Rabbit with a bunch of hot rod goodies. I built it for her a couple years ago, and it's been super fun, and super reliable ever since. One day we'll swap it for a 318ti, or a Mini. This is an old pic, before we did the suspension, or the interior.

Al

EDIT - Added this one on Thursday of this past week.

83 533i. Black over beige, 5 speed, LSD, 235k km, no rust, straight, but missing a few key items to make it run. Exhaust, ECU, AFM, guibo, and shifter. I have most of the parts to fix it though, and have found the ones I don't. Total price? $150CDN!

Wish I still had my 79 323, sold it to buy a Subi Turbo Wagon in the early 90's, then it was totaled by a drunk about 4 months later. Somehow the couple that bought it survived..

Thats pretty cool bottlecaps fit your Rabbit! Doesn't look half bad. You should put the roundels on it to P-off VW people! haha. Your 323 is going to look amazing! Congratulations!

Thanks guys. The rhd 323i is certainly a unique beasty. I can't wait to finally drive it.

I think the bottlecaps actually look better on the Rabbit than on an 02, or even an E30! We just needed a cheap set of 14" wheels for the car, and they happen to be a perfect fit.

Lucky me, i didn't do the conversion. I believe this is one of the first e30s this was actually done to. The body work was completed in '94 and the engine swap in '96. it's an s50. And has been aproved by CARB so it is smog legal in california. I think the body kit is Zender, but i am not sure. The car is originally a 1984 318i. The conversion has a motor and tranny from '95 m3. Suspension and brakes are from an e30 m3. the diff is a froma some 5 series. It's a franken bimmer.

Here's mine, a 1981 242DL. Reminds me much of an 02 due to the greenhouse effect. It's like a big fat balding 02 for a big fat balding man (like me). No performance add-ons yet, but my iPd sways (25/22) are on the way.

Besides my 2002 and my 318is, there is a few more vehicles stacked up in "The Hanger"

"Ol' Lass" I remember walking on the hood of this 02 when I was a Kid and getting in deep Shyt. This car has a reputation with anyone who has endured the blue mushroom clouds that emanate from behind her.

Then theres the "no title don't know what to do with so will probably cut up into little pieces car".

Jonas,

I just bought an '81 320i that has those exact Epsilon wheels on it. All I wanted was the wheels, so the car is for sale again now. 8-)

BTW, nice 323i. I'm putting an '80 323i drivetrain in a '69 2002.
