At 76, the one and only legendary Link Wray passed away in his home in Copenhagen. Was fortunate to see him last year perform here in B-lo. Tore the roof off the place. -nate

I'm glad I'm glad. I did like his music and I played it on my radio show, but after his bitch wife stopped his show at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood because I was taping (not hiding and right up front) and almost got me mugged, I feel no sorrow. Plus that show was so bad I was happy to give the bitch the DAT.

DaMN. "Switchblade" is very high on my hit parade. I always liked him very much, along Robert Gordon.
Link Wray had a revival around 1980/81 with the rockabilly revival around the STRAYCATS. Link was/is a king of "guitar with attitude"...
American music was build on non-white people. Wether they were black, Mexican or Indian. Perhaps one day, their contribution will be recognized.
