seems like I'm not able to (to time consuming) read ALL the posts and replys. Takes more time to cover all of the replys. Makes me be more selective of the subject in the title line before I open it.

I DO LIKE the added ease of posting photos and attachments
from my machine, the personal data, Profile infromation
is really nice !

Like everyones neg reaction to the new BMW styling - they keep buying the Bangle Angles and all the sharp body edges have become 'normal'-
so will this new version site - I hope - It must have taken hours of work and I sure admire the effort.

thank you Steve, mmccurdy, and _Z_ .

C.D. why do you think this is happening? is it the load speed of the pages or navigation?

thanks,
steve k.

Not sure how I feel about being compared to Bangle...

...but in any case, the difference here is that we're actually listening to you guys, you won't be stuck with our piss poor design choices forever ;)

as now when people make a one word reply you get piles of garbage with their giant signatures, some of which are ads like bmw1602.com, and ridiculous amounts of pics you're forced to look at that have nothing to do with the board or the cars. Like I've said, I don't care what users put in their avatars, but when it takes three screens for a one word post I draw the line.

i absolutely agree....a great example is the 1st post of this thread....it's an abuse and very disrespectul of the other board members

i resented having to look at someones vanity, ego inflating pics...if there was a topic about them and they were relevant, they might have been suitable but to place them in a post where's he's hedging on pissing & moaning about the board interferes with mine and possibly others pleasure

i'm not on dial up, although i could be, and it's a real piss off to have to wait for that crap to load before you can get on with it

thanks cd....those were lovely....what were they anyway? did they relate to your expression of displeasure about the new board?

we need more controversy around this joint, more excitement

.

If I'm not mistaken, can you not turn sigs "html" off? That would fix any sig irritations

a lot of the forums have that active as a feature...i don't think it's an option here, if it is, i couldn't find it

I can definitely turn this off globally, and we may want to do so. It's a little more difficult to hack it to be a user configurable feature. I do agree with the need to cut down the clutter... maybe just issue a request to have people tone it down? Like some guidelines about max images size in sigs, or turn off images in sigs entirely.

i say, turn them off...seems people are complaining about clutter but the same peeps are adding all that crap to their profiles that make the clutter....

go figure.....

is that an oxymoron?...what they do, i mean

yes, i vote to turn sigs off....not an option, kaput, nada, no mas

I second that. There's no sense that same picture (taking half screen) is 10 times in one thread regardless how nice shot it is.

Little adjusting like that and the new board will be ok although I was against the change. *thumbs up*
