Been an FAQ regular for some time, like the new format, but can't get registration to "take" or messages to post using the user name I've used since day one (Barry A) - when attempting to register or post using that username above, the board rejects the attempt and tells me there's an "invalid character" in the Username - all that's there is 6 characters and a space - don't understand why that combination won't work.

Currently username can't have spaces, though I know a lot of folks want them. I would suggest using something like BarryA or similar for now. I will add it to my list to investigate this restriction. If it's possible to rewrite things to lift this requirement, I will make it possible for people to change their usernames. Sorry for the inconvenience.
