Subject: Is the search from the previous board complete?

If I search for example "lenso flares" I get nothing but I know the post existed as it still shows up in this google search:

As the search feature is the most valuable resource for our cars I sure hope it gets worked out!

it can take quite a while to build the text index for the main forum.. 6-12 hours (??) -- there are a lot of data to be processed !! let it work and check again this time tomorrow maybe -- i bet it searches better

Indeed, the search index is running in the background on the server. This also affects page load times, and probably explains the spike in response times people are seeing (10+ second response times) since the re-index nails the database once every three seconds. Just hold tight, it'll wrap up and be complete by tomorrow or so.
