Subject: Aftermarket fuel tank filler neck?

Has anyone ever looked into fabricating an aftermarket fuel filler neck that would work well with modern gas pumps? I'd sure buy one if it were available. I'm sick of washing my paint off every time I fill up.

Cut yours and make the fill inside the trunk. No spillage at all and secure as well.
