After driving the 02 for about 15-20 minutes, sometimes cruising, sometimes I was on the throttle hard. I parked the car and it was idleing at 2000RPM. blipped the throttle and it went to about 1500 and stayed there. After starting it back up later in the day it was at its normal 800-900 mark?

but I have yet to try to 'fix' it. one of these days.

This can be a too rich idle mixture, or a hanging ignition advance mechanism.

Which direction does the vaccum hose from the carb to the brake booster go? I did change this hose out yesterday and it had a splitter in the middle of it. when I took it appart i dropped it so I never new which direction it went. I assumed from the carb to the brake booster... anyone know?

"ARROW" stamped on the valve points to the
motor. Remove the valve from the hose, one side you can suck hard through - that side goes to the intake manifold - 'vacuum' flows to the motor - out of the booster.

Using the rotating clip, disconnect the threaded pin at the top of the vertical rod from the shaft that runs to the engine. Check for smooth movement on the engine side and on the chassis side.
