thanks, Matt. you're right, finding that contact is hard, I've been on the site a while and haven't found it yet. do you know if that contact will pass 5 wires/channels through?

thanks, Bill. so are you saying the cable doesn't move where it enters the body and the door, and the slack in the cable fits in the gap between body and the door when the door is closed?

I have a stock 74 with Eibach springs (lowered 1.5") with Bilstein Sport. Running 15x6 BBS RA and 195/50-15. Only rubbing is when steering is cranked over at full lock. HTH
