One tail light gasket was replaced, the other one one seemed fine at the time. I'll check other areas you have suggested.

It appears the canceling thimble is too short?
Therefore, it does not make contact with the TS stud.

My TS is on the left side, so 3 O'Clock position is correct.
It seems that the TS stud nver touches the ring.

Please help!
My turn signal does not cancel or return to its orignail position after use. I thought that the turn signal was defective, so it was replaced with another used one..it did not work ...

I do need the bottom padding/foam that goes after the plastic cover.
To be cleared the plastic cover secured the top cover with four long screws just right below the steering column.

I do not. We were using ABS plastic with aluminum look because it was much easier to cut and it came out perfect.

I think I will go with IE, complete kit cost $525.
Did you install it yourself? Was it difficult? I am not to mechanically incline so i may have my local BMW shop do it.

to order the start button.
To wire it you would come off the TRUE ignition before starter wire connect to relay then from relay to start button and 12v ...

I love the work you've done. I didn't go all out like you did due to time and money. Of course most of the work were done similar to yours except totally stripped the car.
Excellent work project.
