Good longevity/ handling trade off. I had r-compound before these and loved them- but these are still great fun and last way longer. Great street tire.

When I replaced the hose fromt eh K-pump I cut it long and overlapped it enough to use 2 hose clamps. Maybe overkill but it just seemed a little light weight for a fuel line.

Just wondering if anyone has an idea as to which other pans may fit in place of the 2002 pan. I'm aware of the s14 pan mods but I'm betting that there is another pan that would fit.....

I agree on the rear gearing. On the roads that I drive on I do tons of 3rd to 2nd down shifts often in the middle of a corner so regardless of the gear spacing I'd love to have that CR shift pattern j ...

Check for an air leak between the tank and the pump. If there is a slight dry/ cracked hose the pump will not prime and just suck air. Are all the lines tight and hoses in good shape?

There are some very comprehensive books out there on tuning weber carbs. Those and a wideband 02 logger and I'd bet you could get then set up just fine.

Tune the carbs to the existing engine, Webers are very versatile.

True. What size choke? Couldn't you go down in choke size to obtain the similar results as going to 40's
