That one should work fine. Route it with a gentle radius to avoid binding. Tighten at the carb enough so it does not slip but avoid overtightening so as to not break the cable.

Thanks Max. I am confused with the picture though. Does that piece go below the air cleaner over the carb opening ( which is what i am looking for) or does it fit on the end of the air intake?

I have used graphite lube ( such as lock-eze) on plugs since my first 1600 in 1981. Threads are clean upon removal. Never a problem.
