Yes, you can use the same diff plate as was used for the 2002 diff.

Have a chance to score a good deal on some wheels however the offset is 12. What is the proper, ideal or minimum offset I can use on a 02 without flaring the body?

Try hanging a chicken's foot, or a pinch of Copenhagen on top of each tire.

Oh, One more thing...

On the parking brake tubes (where the PB cable goes in to) you need to cut the end of the tube 10mm to take make the cable work with you PB lever.

Yes they will!!

Just got done doing that very set up, one thing to remember is that there is an extra 4mm on both side which may affect rubbing.
