Usually the injection was removed because the mechanic working on it had no idea how to properly service it.
I'd bet it would need very little to get it up and running. |

| Many glass places that have replaced VW windows have the same lock strip. You may be able to source locally and not have to use the coaxial cable which is big if I am thinking of typical catv cable. |

Not the right one.

To replace the adjusters, you need to replace the backing plate, which is a very involved task (removing the rear hub).
I'd remove everything out of the brakes. Then use liberal amounts of PB-Blast ... |

Also replace that vacuum line that from the brake booster to the manifold. Yours is looking pretty tired.
