Hey, don't forget to remove the clutch cover plate (# 1 below), it's bolted in by (2) 10mm bolts. YOu won't be able to get the engine out without removing it...don't ask me how I know.

Ditto! I know how you feel, Carl. BTW, BavAuto has the heater core for ~$259. I had to get one as mine looked like it had seen many repairs and leaks.

The 74 models are prewired for the intermittent relay and stalk. It is a simple plug and play once you obtain the parts. I have the stalks and relays available.
