definately practice on some 16ga sheet metal and get the settings dialed in just right.... it still looks off. Please get some gas.....flux core is just such a mess and should just be used on farm equ ...

most high performance motorcycle engines run 13.5:1 compression and they all run on pump gas....

...also remember late model engine all have knock sensors that retard the timing when needed to elim ...

don't use fiberglass other easy way out...... welding them is the proper way to do it. Also MUCH easier.

fiberglass/bondo will eventually crack.

that's a hell of a lot of tubes back there.....

well I have the time/tools/skills, tubing is cheap and the car is old and flexy.

Not to mention I will be running stiff springs and sticky rubber ...

The top of the tube is open so if I need to replace the bolt I just push it up from the bottom then fish it out of the tube with a magnet.

Ideally I would run the tube thru the sheet metal and weld ...

besides measuring all the parts yourself...most machine shops will take your rods etc... and measure them for you and give you a report.
