you think you've got it bad....my car is titled as a 1970 2002, but the vin plate and sticker calls it a 1969 1600....it gets tricky when i'm ordering parts....

not sure what the number was on the magnet, but my dizzy was a different number than yours....i don't know if it's possible that you have the wrong one for your car? not sure but i hope you figure it ...

turn it a little as you push down and it should seat itself better....i just installed one last weekend.
