Be careful with Pierce - they have a $25 minimum before they will ship. They are awesome, and I've bought lots of stuff from them, but that $25 minimum is a pain.

No.

The "spike looking thing" is the timing mark pointer. It's in the upper left of your picture.

The "timing mark" is on the crank pulley. It's the slot on top of the pulley.

Check the exhaust system. Sounds like it might be a broken exhaust mount somewhere, causing part of your exhaust system to bang against the bottom of the car.

You can get 'em from Max, e-bay, pelican parts and probably Blunt.

I have both an 02 Ti airbox, as well as a 2000 Ti airbox. 02 box on the left. 2000 box on the right.

Realize that to correctly mount the airbox, you also may have to move/modify your battery tray ...

I pulled the stock alternator and replaced it with an 80 a alternator. It literally took 15 minutes. Something is not right with what you are doing if it won't slip right ...

You could remove the new SS downpipe, and compare the two. Might be able to do some bending after a side by side comparison and get everything to fit better.
