I have read that advance up to 50 something degrees at low throttle settings helps. I think the idea is as much advance without detonation at high mp.

I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are that a few oil changes will still show stuff on the magnet plug.

I think the center sections are just a little too dark. You say in your post that you thought the fabric was cheap. Maybe just a re-do of the seats with a better matching fabric?

It's been a while for me but aren't the motor mount hles on the pax side slotted? I know you need that little curly Q thingey to keep the motor from moving forward under heavy braking.

I would ask IE what springs and retainers to use with that cam. They would know. My head has a Schrick 304 with Crower titanium retainers and double springs.

Are you sure the LC1 is getting voltage WHILE starting? Some 12v sources go dead when the switch is in the start position.
