I *think* it's from a '74. I got when I purchsed my '74tii. The fuel gauge sending unit is not there...it's currently in use on my my '74tii.

Sherman (on the board) sells a machined spacer for the E23/E24 alternators.
I picked up a 80A or 90A from a later E23 that I will install at some point.

65A should be enough according to several sources. Early cars had 35-45A.
