Take a big pair of bolt cutters and go straight through the big red (+) wire coming off the battery. That should do it.

With my Crane Hi6 (similar to MSD) I was running .045
Best performance route would be to gap them at .040 see if they run ok, gap up by a few thou, see if it runs ok, gap up a few thou etc till you ... |

no pics, but if I remember correctly you have to vent/collapse the bumper pistons by drilling a hole and pushing them back...
