VINs 125XXXX relate to the 4 door "neue klasse" BMW 1800 I believe. But that would make it a 1965/66. Maybe just a coincidence of numbers?

This car sold Dec '07 on Ebay to the now Seller (Dealer) for $2k.
Wonder if they did anything to it other than trailer it from CT where it was.

Tom, Do you think the turbo 02 is a clone or real. It would be interesting to know. It would also be worth a mint if true.

Personally, I do not think a blue interior would go well with an orange exterior. Probably why BMW had the Colorado and Inka cars with a black interior.

Per the manual (very useful to have in this situation) you will need to disconnect the sway bar and half shaft to allow the trailing arm to drop far enough.

Don't think it's Bristol. Looks to be metallic, so, maybe Polaris. Polaris came with Black or Blue-Black interior though. Perhaps the car is not "all original"?
