Anyway the rear end is nice now, the urethane bushings made a huge difference and tightening the nuts on the shocks probably helped too. The e-brake works, but the brakes drag some, gotta fix that still. I didn't notice any smoke and it seemed to respond better now that the fuel lines are tightened and not leaking air.

So I get back to the house, girls just grinning (they loved it) and I open the hood. Notice smoke coming from the exhaust. Turn off the car and take a look and see that oil is leaking from the stud that I took out, cleaned and tightened last year. I didn't replace it at the time because I couldn't find my spares. I have found them now, but am really dreading removing the exhaust manifold again.

But since I need to get to work on the front bushings I might as well do it.

Brakes are working, but still not the firmness I like, I'm hoping it is just air trapped in the system.
