The Weekend.
Saturday 28th.
• Two runs will be held simultaneously, one leaving Melbourne departing North Essendon at 10 am and the other from Ballarat at 8.45.
• At approx. 12.30 pm, both groups will converge on Yea for a lunch stop.
At 1.30 pm, cars will depart for Mansfield, for a pleasant drive of approx. 80 kms. On arrival visitors will be welcomed and given their Rally Packs and instructions for the remainder of the weekend.
• At 5.00 pm cars are to assemble together on the greens in front of the Mansfield Golf Club for a special photo shoot. During dinner, there will be some ‘minor speeches’ and presentations will be made. The rest of the evening is set aside to social interaction and sharing of BMW stories.
Sunday 29th.
• At 9.30 am we will assemble again in the main street before heading to the summit of Mount Buller for morning tea. The road we will travel is that used in the Porsche Cup hill climb each year.
• We then descend the mountain and travel to the Nillahcootie Estate Winery, and return home. After leaving the Winery, it is not necessary to return to Mansfield, as an alternative road leads back to the Maroondah Highway at Maindample.

• This event is being staged under the auspices of the Ballarat Chapter of the BMW Car Club of Victoria. We ask your co-operation in driving safely and sensibly and avoiding anti social or offensive behaviour. Your co-operation is appreciated.
• It is a condition of entry in this event that all participants indemnify The BMW Car Club of Victoria, Ballarat Chapter, against claims for personal injuries or damages incurred while taking part.
• This event is open to BMW ’02 Series Cars manufactured between 1966 and 1976 only. Vehicles are required to be Registered or on Club Permit.
• Non BMW Car Club members are welcome.
• Anyone staying on an extra night is invited to contact the organisers, who will assist in planning a short local run on the following Monday.

• In organising this event our aim has been to celebrate the 40th. Anniversary of our wonderful ‘02’s. We have endeavoured to keep costs to the minimum, allowing as much choice as possible.
